About the NAMC-Oregon Chapter
Established in 2007, NAMC-Oregon is the local affiliate of the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC). The NAMC is a nonprofit trade association founded in 1969 to address the needs and concerns of minority contractors. Though membership is open to people of all races and ethnic backgrounds, the organization’s mandate, “Building Bridges—Crossing Barriers,” focuses on construction industry issues common to African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans.
NAMC-Oregon membership is open to anyone committed to enhancing the status of minority individuals in the building and construction trades. The regular members of NAMC-Oregon are individuals, partnerships, or corporations certified as minority-owned (MBE) or minority-owned disadvantaged (DBE) business enterprises (including firms that have graduated from such programs) involved in the business of construction contracting and subcontracting. Membership is also open to non-certified firms and public bodies committed to the purposes of our organization.
Please contact the NAMC Oregon Chapter for more information regarding membership or upcoming events.
