Wisconn Valley
Small Business Capacity Building Sessions:
Helping Small Businesses Play a Bigger Role in Building Wisconsin

LACK OF ACCESS…lack of access to working capital, prime contractor decision-makers, and quality, trained job candidates are key barriers blocking certified small and disadvantaged contractors from participating in more of the over $6 billion in Wisconn Valley industrial, transportation, and utilities construction projects. Those are among the findings of a survey the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development conducted in Second Quarter 2018.

WE HEARD YOU…and that is why the State of Wisconsin and its partners have collaborated to design tools to help small and disadvantaged contractors overcome the access barriers and compete more effectively for Wisconn Valley contracting.

Friday, August 24, 2018

Location: WIiMET Center, 2320 Renaissance Boulevard in Sturtevant, WI

This is your chance to learn how your business can gain greater access to:
* working capital and participating lenders
* prime contractors and other key decision-makers
* quality, trained job candidates and potential wage subsidies
* tax credits that can improve your bottom line

In addition to barrier-busting product and service presentations, there also will be opportunities to network with participating lenders, business association/resource executives, and fellow contractors.

Please register athttp://www.surveymonkey.com/r/capacitybuildingwi

and let us know a bit about your company, and who will attend one or both of the sessions. We also would like to know if there are any lending institutions with which you currently work, so we can invite representatives to hear how we can work together to finance working capital.
